SDG Impact Scorer
SDG Impact Scorer is a Green Finance Suite submodule that systematically analyzes how closely your projects align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It matches each project against the 17 Goals and relevant sub-targets, scores the level of contribution, and produces ready-to-use SDG maps, charts, and short summaries that can be used in financing or grant applications.
This enables you to give a clear and defensible answer to the question: “Which SDG does this project contribute to, and to what extent?”
Clarifies the SDG profile of projects
It generates a numerical and visual answer to the question: “How does this project contribute to which SDG?”
It enables you to present the SDG mapping required by banks, funds, and grant programs through one-click maps and tables.
By comparing the SDG contribution scores of different projects, it helps you see which project creates greater impact.
When used together with Project Eligibility Analyzer results, both the project’s green finance eligibility and its SDG impact can be shown in the same file.
It automatically generates ready-to-use SDG charts for sustainability reports, impact reports, and investor presentations.
What types of projects can it be used for?
It is suitable for all environmental, social, or mixed investments and projects; the key requirement is having a measurable impact objective.
Does it only consider the 17 SDGs, or does it also cover sub-targets?
It performs the mapping based on both the 17 main goals and, if desired, the relevant sub-targets.
What kind of information does it require from me?
It requires the project’s objective, target group, geographic scope, expected outputs, and core impact indicators such as saved resources, reduced emissions, or number of people supported.
Does this score replace an official certification or independent impact verification?
No. This module presents SDG alignment in a structured and comparable way; official certification and independent verification remain separate processes.
Where can I use the outputs?
The SDG map and scores can be used directly in bank meetings, investor and fund applications, grant files, and sustainability or impact reports.
