CBAM Technical Data & Reporting Toolkit
The CBAM Technical Data & Reporting Toolkit is a module designed to help companies exporting to the EU prepare the emissions data and reports required for their CBAM-covered products. It consolidates facility, fuel, and product data in one place for production, export, sustainability, and finance teams; and provides embedded emissions calculations and table templates needed for CBAM declarations in a structured format. This module is the CBAM-specific component of the Carbonance Carbon Accounting Solutions (CCAS™) family.
Select CBAM Products and Facilities
CBAM-covered products, the relevant CN codes, and the facilities producing these products are defined in the system.
Import Production and Energy Data
Key facility-level data such as production volumes, fuel usage, and energy consumption is entered via templates or imported through integrations with existing systems.
Calculate Embedded Emissions
Data is matched with emission factors aligned with the CBAM methodology; embedded emissions per product (tCO₂e / tonne of product) are calculated.
Generate CBAM Tables and Summaries
Draft CBAM report templates are automatically prepared for periodic submissions on a product, facility, and country basis.
Share Data and Evidence
Supporting files are attached to substantiate calculations; outputs can be transferred to the importer, customs representative, or to ComplianceIQ™.

What data do I need to prepare?
Facility production volumes, fuel and electricity consumption, key raw materials, and the quantities of products shipped to the EU. In most cases, this data already exists in production or ERP systems.
Does it work according to CBAM rules and methodology?
The module is built on the approach defined in EU CBAM legislation and structures product-level embedded emissions calculations accordingly. Updates to the rules are monitored and the calculation logic is reflected in the system when required.
Do we submit the CBAM declaration directly through this module?
No. The module prepares the technical data and table templates required for the declaration; official declaration and submission processes are carried out through the relevant customs and importer channels.
Where else can I use the CBAM data produced?
When used together with ComplianceIQ™ and Green Finance Suite™, this data can be reused in bank discussions, green finance applications, and sustainability reports.
